Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating security practices into our DevOps processes while ensuring CI/CD pipelines are efficient and reliable. You will be responsible for implementing test automation, shifting security left in the development lifecycle, and fostering a robust DevOps culture across teams.

Main role and responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Champion shift-left security practices by integrating security checks and controls earlier in the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to establish and promote a DevOps culture focused on collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Utilize scripting languages such as Bash and Python to automate routine tasks and streamline operations.
• Deploy, manage, and orchestrate containerized applications on Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Elastic stack, Grafana, and Prometheus to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Manage and maintain DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus, Harbor, Clair, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Jacoco, and Git.
• Implement source code management best practices using Git to ensure code quality, version control, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on DevOps, security, and automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, test automation, and source code management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Communicate effectively in English through presentations, documentation, and negotiations.
