Senior Data Scientist

Data Scientist is a role that combines elements of computer science, statistics, and domain expertise in order to extract insights and knowledge from data. The Data Scientist is responsible for analyzing data sets, processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis, supporting with preparation of datasets for advanced analytics, researching, developing, and implementing prediction, optimization, and analytics tools and documenting and communicating methodology and results to technical and non- technical audiences. This role requires a combination of technical, statical, and business skills to extract insights from data and drive business decision-making.

Main role and responsibilities :

• Directing the data gathering, data mining, and data processing processes in huge volume discover patterns and appropriate data models to discover the values of the data to meet the organisation's unique needs.
• Leading to define requirements and scope of data analyses; presenting and reporting possible business insights to management using data visualization technologies.
• Utilize machine learning to build predictive or prescriptive models in order to extract insights and drive business decision-making by working closely with AI Engineers.
• Conducting research on data model opmization and algorithms to improve effectiveness and accuracy on data analyses.
• Design and analyse metrics to verify model and algorithm effectiveness.
  

Qualification :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Able to communicate both writing and speaking in English and Thai
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering/data scientist, with a focus on financial services or consulting.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with experience in deploying models in production environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead technical projects, mentor junior team members, and drive innovation.
