Data Scientist

Main role and responsibilities :

Lead the modernization of enterprise data platforms, driving the design and deployment of data lakehouse architectures, scalable data pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms. Act as both hands-on engineer and strategic technical lead, integrating AI into workflows and ensuring the platform is scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data platform modernization projects (design, migration, deployment, monitoring).
• Build and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for structured and unstructured data.
• Architect and implement data lakehouse solutions using AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks.
• Manage distributed data processing at scale (PySpark, Hadoop, Apache Spark).
• Oversee workflow orchestration (Airflow) and containerized deployments (Docker).
• Mentor team members in best practices for data engineering and platform development.
• Integrate AI/ML models into data workflows to enable intelligent data services.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and analytics teams to ensure alignment with strategy.

Qualification :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Able to communicate both writing and speaking in English and Thai
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on financial services or consulting.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with experience in deploying models in production environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead technical projects, mentor junior team members, and drive innovation.
